Hello Lina,
Here am I, back from a long ten days trip in Italy, and where, for a couple of days, I had the joy to meet Edna and the Rainbow Theatre's young actors.
It's been for me an incredibly strong, intense and touching experience ...
I was really moved by the atmosphere of love, friendship and respect that was shining out of the group. And, at the same time, the clear sense of responsability they all carry inside them, feeling they are a sort of example and symbol for many of us. Also, in Parma, I met with Milena Gadioli (milena.gladioli@libero.it), a student at the Modena university. Knowing you very well already from the "Hakeh Niswan" play, she organized by herself, at the university, an exhibition with the Republica's diaries. People was given the possibility to write on paper their comments, which were becoming then part of the expo. I join for you a couple of pictures i've taken in Parma, where the exhibition was seted just at the entrance of the hall.
It really looks like that the Repubblica's diaries had a nice and positive impact all around Italy, and people would love to see you and Edna somehow together in a italian "tour".
So is Sabrina Sabatini - responsible at the Parma district for 'International Relations and European Bureau' - which, as far as I know, helped quite a lot for the Rainbow Theatre tour. She told me she would be more then interested in being part of the sponsorship of such an happening ...
It would be too long to list you all the contacts and people I've met in Parma, in just a couple of days. All of them are involved, in a way or another, in the same "rainbow". What is clear to me, and of course if you are still interested in it, is that they would all like to welcome you and Edna in Italy.
